We have used Snooper Ventura units for years now with various campers/motorhomes & I think it's the most comprehensive unit for such use and very well thought out. My only gripe is that when we paid (quite a lot) for 'lifetime updates' for our current model, I thought that would mean until the unit failed as indeed the wording was (and still is) "for the life of the device". I feel this is misleading as even if the device works perfectly as ours does, it's 'lifetime' ends when Snooper decides to change it, after that you have to pay for an expensive update or buy a new unit. Current models appear to come with free lifetime updates "for the life of the device", the customer has no way of knowing how long that life is & whether that model will shortly be discontinued.

The SD card mao update works really well and I am pleased with it . I was advised that I could send the old SD card back for a £15 refund, but as I didn’t do it straight away as I was on holiday, I was told that it was too late to send it back! Which was very disappointing.

Since purchase and installing my snooper freezes at the most awkward of times, fed up of getting lost because of no guidance. Gave up trying to sort it out with snooper reps as useless advice given of switching it off and then rebooting it. Can't do this constantly on busy roads.Switched over to Google maps as these are always up to date. What a waste of money and time
